I Never Should Have Hired Him in the First Place!
Navigating Common Employment Issues and Not Getting Sued
Wed, Mar 22, 2023 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT

During this webinar, attorney Melisa C. Zwilling will discuss some of the legal issues employers are facing as a result of an incredibly tight job market. Oftentimes employees are hired as a result of employer desperation instead of employee qualification. Though it may seem like a good idea, it can present numerous challenges and lawsuits, many of which will be considered during this webinar. Should an employer overlook lack of qualification for a position? What should be done with unproductive employees? How should an employer treat an employee who doesn’t show up for work on time on a consistent basis? What should be done about drama-loving employees? How can employers handle employees looking for a way to not work? Should employers hire someone with a criminal history? These and many other issues will be covered during this one-hour webinar presentation.
