Ashley Rodriguez is a driven and analytical MBA candidate at Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2019 with a B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance, with a concentration in Quantitative Risk Analysis.
Ashley currently serves as a Risk Analyst at General Motors, where she manages global exposure data and handles the end-to-end allocation and collection of insurance premiums. Her professional background includes extensive experience in employee health and benefits, having served as a Licensed Agent at Alight Solutions and a Benefits Advisor at Marsh & McLennan Agency.
A dedicated leader within the insurance community, Ashley is the Chair of the Rising Risk Professionals Committee for the Detroit RIMS chapter. In this role, she created a mentorship program for local risk professionals to grow the RIMS Detroit network and facilitate industry connections. She also serves as the Secretary on the Executive Board for the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA), Michigan Chapter. As Social Media Chair, she has successfully grown the chapter’s reach to over 600 local insurance professionals. Her commitment to leadership and equity was recently recognized with the 2025 RIMS DEI Chapter Leadership Award.
