Corby is a Global Risk & Insurance Sr. Manager for Loram Maintenance of Way Inc. based in Hamel, Minnesota. Loram is a leader in Railway maintenance with offices in the U.S., UK, Australia, Brazil, India, and Finland. Loram services and products are sold across the globe. Corby has more than 38 years of experience in Risk Management & Insurance after serving in Risk Management, Insurance Company, Third-Party Claims Administration, and small business insurance vendor roles. Prior to joining Loram, Corby was the Director of Risk Management for Regis Corporation. Prior to joining Regis, Corby was the Founder and President of a Claims Consulting and Investigation firm that he ran for 17 years. He previously served as the Vice President and National Liability Practice Leader for Sedgwick Claims Management Services, and he served as the Claims Manager of the 40-person Target Store National Guest Claims Unit. Corby began his insurance career with Travelers Insurance as a multi-line claims representative and he later served as a Claims Manager. Corby holds an MBA degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota. He is RIMS-CRMP certified, and he is a licensed Insurance Producer and Adjuster. Corby currently serves on the Board for the Minnesota RIMS Chapter. Corby has been married to his wife, Beate, for over 42 years and he has four children. When not working, Corby enjoys working out, hiking, and sports. Corby is a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. He served in the Strategic Air Command at Fairchild AFB, WA, and he served for 3 years with the 52nd Security Police Squadron on the west side of the Iron Curtain at Spangdahlem, Air Base, West Germany.
