The Spencer Educational Foundation, Inc. awards academic scholarships to students pursuing the field of risk management. Also, the Spencer Educational Foundation offers the Risk Manager in Residence program. The mission of the Foundation is to stimulate, promote and encourage promising students of risk management disciplines in fulfilling their education goals primarily by providing scholarship awards and educational grants. Scholarship applications may be obtained by email at asabatino@rims.org.

Each year the Anita Benedetti Student Involvement Program, through RIMS, selects a group of outstanding students studying risk and insurance management and provides them the opportunity to attend the RIMS Annual Conference. RIMS provides airfare, hotel expenses, registration, and a small honorarium for the students chosen to attend the conference. These students will be selected by the RIMS Student Involvement Committee.
