Who We Are  

The Greater Iowa RIMS Chapter is a professional community dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management across the state of Iowa. Formerly known as the Greater Quad Cities Chapter, our expanded identity reflects the broader reach of our members, partners, and organizations throughout Iowa’s diverse industries.

We bring together risk professionals from insurance, finance, manufacturing, healthcare, public sector, education, and beyond to share knowledge, strengthen networks, and elevate the strategic role of risk management.

Our chapter provides:

MISSION STATEMENT

The Greater Iowa Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. serves our member companies and the risk management community by fostering an environment of communication, education and networking to advance the practice of protecting physical, financial and human resources.    

OUR PURPOSE

We are a not-for profit association of Risk and Insurance Management Society who meet in an effort to advance our profession and professional skills through educational programs, networking, and information sharing. The Greater Iowa RIMS Chapter is one of 80 Chapters in the US that makes up the national organization known as Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS). 

OUR MEMBERS

Individuals representing our member companies have both full and part time risk and insurance management responsibilities.  Our membership comes from companies across the state of Iowa and neighboring states.

OUR MEETINGS

Our meetings are held September through May every other month via zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting formats.  Meeting notices will be delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting invite email. Our meetings are typically held from Noon to 1:00, but dates and times may vary based on speaker availability.
